The ninth edition of Made in Steel to be held next week, the main exhibition dedicated to the steel industry scheduled at fieramilano Rho from 5 to 7 October 2021, organised by siderweb – the steel community.
It will be an opportunity to meet again with customers and suppliers, leaving behind a year and a half of severe limitations. Many things have changed in the last 18 months and we feel the need to return to moments of confrontation and dialogue. Made in Steel in this sense is an opportunity not to be missed.
The long period of darkness following the pandemic, however, has been fertile with reflection and new ideas.
Above all, the need for change has come to the fore, as our chairman Emanuele Morandi emphasises:
For us, 2021 represents a sort of year zero from which to start again and change our course. Morandi Steel’s philosophy for the next five years will be based on a few key concepts: digitalisation, sustainability, reorganisation and listening. Our aim is to focus on creating value for ourselves and, above all, for our customers. To do this, we are investing in innovation in processes and workmanship, and in alternative management models that are less centralised and in which responsibilities are delegated more. All this is combined with the desire to become an increasingly sustainable company. Attention is paid to new processing and production methods, separate waste collection and recycling, energy saving and waste reduction. In doing so, we want to get closer, step by step, to a model of circular economy.
The title of the exhibition will be “RENAISSANCE – Here begins the steel rebirth“. A steel renaissance that starts with sustainability and innovation. These are topical issues for the steel industry and beyond, which require responses and actions by the supply chain. After the darkness, the time has come to turn the light back on and start planning change together.
We want to be part of this REBIRTH.
We look forward to seeing you from 5 to 7 October 2021, Hall 11 – Stand F38 at fieramilano Rho, to tell you our news and take part in the rebirth of steel.
