New Services to Complete Morandi Steel’s Offering

The year 2026 opens with the announcement of the addition of new processing operations and surface treatments.

Responding precisely to market needs and, thanks to an increasingly broad range of services, reaching customers in niche segments where quality makes the difference. These are the main objectives of the “servitization” approach that has long been a cornerstone of Morandi Steel’s medium- to long-term strategy, summed up by the claim “Tubes and Beyond.”

A drive to go beyond simple tubes and hollow sections has led the company, in recent years, to install two laser systems, a cutting line, and a drilling line in its warehouses. Investments made to offer customers not just a product, but a complete service. To continue along this path and further enhance its service portfolio, Morandi Steel has added surface treatments such as shot blasting, galvanizing, and painting, as well as new mechanical processing and welding operations. Everything, in line with the company’s tradition, is tailor-made and designed to meet the specific needs of each customer.

In addition, alongside the supply of tubes for structural applications and steel products for steelmakers, the range of processed products has also been expanded to include open sections, such as beams, angles, L-profiles, and flats.

Between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, alongside the introduction of surface treatments and new processing operations, “we also brought three new people into the company to support these new activities: one to strengthen the sales office, one to reinforce the engineering team, and one to consolidate our production department. All with a single goal: to continue improving the service offered to our partners,” Nicola Zamboni concluded.
