Structural Hollow Section EN 10210

Hot formed hollow sections ensure higher deformation possibilities and are suitable for uses subject to dynamic forces. Hot formed structural hollow sections can be manufactured by means of various methods: cold formed and subsequently subject to heat treatment, hot formed – where the hollow sections have a lower corner bending radius – or manufactured by means of extrusion process. Technical terms of supply are specified in UNI EN standard 10210-2006 1 and 2.

Morandi SPA supplies a wide range of hollow sections EN 10210 of grade S 355 J2H. Round hollow sections are available with a diameter of up to 610 mm, square up to 400x400mm and rectangular up to 500×300 mm, and 16 mm of thickness. Thanks to its modern cutting lines, Morandi SPA can execute cuts at executive size with small tolerances on all its hollow sections. The materials supplied are CE branded, according to the Technical Standards for the Building Industry.
