This is how we can summarize Morandi Steel’s outlook for 2024, which aims to strengthen its market presence with even more services for customers.
As our Sales Manager Riccardo Taroni explained:
«Even though we recorded a decrease compared to 2022, mainly due to the fall in prices, 2023 was indeed a positive year in terms of revenue. From the volume perspective, the performance was mostly in line with the plan drafted at the beginning of the year, effectively optimizing the operation of our facilities to full capacity».
The result confirms the company’s trend during the post-pandemic years; since 2020, when the turnover was around 8.7 million euros, the following three years saw Morandi Steel growing steadily in terms of turnover and especially in terms of profitability.
Better prospects in sight for this year:
«For 2024 – continues Riccardo Taroni – we have set ourselves challenging goals that will help us grow even further, as we have managed to do in the last few years. This year we will try to increase the incidence of processing on the trade itself. For this very reason, we are focusing on improving the productivity and the efficiency of our plants in order to respond even more quickly to market demands and expand our customer base even further. In short, we are following the path we had already traced, that ‘formidable challenge’ of servitization».
Another goal is to widen the company’s scope, «exploring new market niches, which we can approach with our uniqueness: a modern and innovative service center, capable of supporting the customer in all phases of the project, offering a wide range of products and customized 3D laser processing».
A Promising Start to 2024 with a positive order trend:
«The new year saw the market restart with a certain vivacity. We are indeed receiving many requests and a significant numbers of orders. This intense start to the year gives us great hope, especially in light of those challenging goals we have set ourselves. The company continues to invest, both in facilities and people, providing us with everything we need in order to win the challenges of 2024» concludes Riccardo Taroni.
