Brescia, 2 October 2015. Entering in Piazza Bruno Boni the image is that of a strange work. Made of steel but which, at first glance, seems formless. It is just walking, just moving reaching that point inside the square that appears, in all its entirety. Here, the “Winged Victory”.
A marvelous piece of steel that combines a game of perspective on a base of recycled steel. Two meanings underlie this realization designed by the steel community Siderweb and the artistic director of Made in Steel 2015, the architect Oliviero Baldini. The first is “the beauty” of a sector that knows how to be sustainable, to reuse the raw materials for production of a circular economy. The second meaning is that this beauty can be seen only by a point, only moving. Or by transferring the focus of attention from the negative aspects such as being a polluting industry to positive ones. Because steel is also beauty, is part of everyday life, is sustainable, is innovative.
Morandi Spa also chose to be on the side of beauty. To interpret – in its role as distributor of steel products – in an innovative way the steel industry.
Take the side of beauty means – for Morandi – express the competitive advantage of the ring of steel chain that is the distribution.
It means maintaining a full available range of stock; It is to offer advice to the client by suggesting that particular hollow sections for this application. It is to understand the changes that are transforming the way we communicate and do business.
In a global scenario that is actually revolutionizing, Morandi Spa will continue to choose innovation, will continue to look at the “Winged Victory”, but from the right point of view.
